Freight IQ Chain

The FreightIQ Standard

Moving the Load Is Only Part of the Job.

A rate and a truck are not enough. Every load we handle is built around four questions: who is moving it, where it is, what happened along the way, and what the record shows if something goes wrong.

I

Identity

Know who is actually handling the freight.

Before a load is tendered, the carrier is reviewed: operating authority, insurance, safety record, contact information and the operating credentials behind the truck that will show up. Identity is checked at the start, not reconstructed after a problem.

  • Authority and insurance verified before tender
  • Carrier contact and dispatch identity confirmed
  • Double-brokering and identity mismatch flagged
  • Credentials stay on the shipment record
II

Trackability

Know where the shipment is.

Pickup, in-transit and delivery milestones are tracked and reported so the customer hears from us before they have to ask. When something slips, the update comes with the reason and the recovery plan.

  • Milestone updates at pickup, in transit and delivery
  • Exceptions reported with cause and next step
  • One contact who owns the load
  • Tracking method matched to the freight and the carrier
III

Traceability

Preserve what happened.

Rate confirmations, bills of lading, communications, milestones and exceptions are kept together as one shipment record instead of scattered across inboxes, texts and separate systems.

  • Documents attached to the load, not the inbox
  • Communications kept with the shipment
  • Exceptions and decisions logged when they happen
  • Record available when the shipment is reviewed or billed
IV

Defensibility

Build the record before you need it.

Claims, disputes and service failures are decided on the record. We build that record during the move so that if something goes wrong, the documentation already exists and tells a clear story.

  • Carrier verification on file before dispatch
  • Coverage considerations reviewed as part of execution
  • Chain of custody documented
  • Nothing to reconstruct after the fact

Why it matters

Most freight problems are not caused by the truck. They come from not knowing who had the freight, not knowing where it was, and not being able to prove what happened. The FreightIQ Standard is how we close those gaps on ordinary loads, so the hard ones are handled the same way.
